It works in conjunction with a receiver kit installed in the burner of each heater, allowing you to easily turn them on or off with a simple button press. This wireless control option is straightforward and user-friendly.

The functionality of the handset is similar to that of a TV remote; it transmits a signal to the receiver, instructing your heater to activate or deactivate. You can configure each handheld remote to control up to 4 individual heaters or set it up to manage 4 zones, with multiple heaters in each zone. A zone refers to an area that encompasses more than one heater.

Schwank recommends acquiring two handheld remotes to have a spare. Alternatively, you can opt for the optional Wireless Remote Control Keypad Transmitter instead of a second handset.

Please note that a Remote Control Receiver is required for the wireless control setup, with each heater needing a receiver kit installed in the burner, which is sold separately.
