Gas fire bowls from American makers
A fire bowl puts the flame in the center of a compact concrete vessel, so it fits where a full fire table would not: a pool edge, a pedestal, a corner of the patio. Every bowl here runs on natural gas or propane and comes from Prism Hardscapes, Fire by Design or Slick Rock Concrete, cast in concrete or GFRC and finished by hand. Many models also come as fire and water bowls for pools.

Fire bowl questions
What is the difference between a fire bowl and a fire and water bowl?
A fire bowl has only a gas burner. A fire and water bowl adds a scupper or spillway, so water pours from the bowl while the flame burns on top. Fire and water bowls are made for pools and water features, and need a water line as well as a gas line.
Who installs a fire and water bowl?
Two trades usually share the job. A licensed gas technician connects the burner, and your pool or water feature contractor plumbs the water side. Planning both before the deck or coping is finished saves rework.
Should I choose match-lit or electronic ignition for a fire bowl?
Match-lit bowls open with a key valve and light with a long lighter, with no power needed, which suits bowls set far from an outlet. Electronic ignition lights with a switch or remote and needs 120V power at the bowl. Fire bowls by a pool are often wired to the pool's control system.
Can I use fire bowls in pairs?
Yes. Smaller bowls, roughly 30 to 36 inches, are often installed in pairs at a pool edge or on both sides of a step or entry. Ordering both at once keeps the color and finish matched, since each piece is cast by hand.
