The circular burner plate caps a round fire pit opening and carries the Warming Trends CROSSFIRE burner that mounts to it. Order it alongside the burner. A burner that arrives on site without its plate cannot be installed that day, and this is the single most common reason a fire feature install stalls.

Size it to the opening, not to the burner. The plate spans the finished hole in your pan, table or enclosure, so the size you need comes from that opening rather than from the burner footprint. A 36 inch plate covers a 36 inch round opening and accepts a burner considerably smaller than itself. Measure the opening before you order, because the two numbers are not the same and getting them confused is the usual mistake.

Available sizes

  • 18 in
  • 24 in
  • 30 in
  • 36 in
  • 42 in
  • 48 in
  • 60 in

What else the install needs

  • A CROSSFIRE burner in the family and output that suits the opening
  • One flex line for burners up to 240,000 BTU/hr in most families, two above that
  • A key valve positioned where it can be reached without standing over the heat
  • Fire media to dress the plate once the burner is set

Not sure which plate goes with which burner? Send us the opening dimensions and the fuel at the meter, and we will come back with the plate size, the burner part number and the flex line count in a form you can put straight into a submittal.

Gas piping must be sized and installed to the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1 and NFPA 54, by a licensed technician.
